Our 2007-2008 Programs

NLVB will offer the following levels of club memberships for our athletes this year:
 (1) TRAVEL TEAM
– SELECT          2) TRAVEL TEAM CLUB          (3) INSTRUCTIONAL

Our programs are designed so that athletes wishing to learn the sport of volleyball have the opportunity to train or compete at the level that is appropriate for them.

The SELECT program is geared for the more committed player desiring to play volleyball at the highest competitive level. The SELECT level is more oriented towards TEAM goals. Tryouts are required for this program.

Our CLUB program is our traditional offering geared for the athlete that may not have the same time as a SELECT player to commit but still desires to receive the highest of quality instruction. The CLUB level is more oriented towards INDIVIDUAL development. This program is postmark-based registration until team positions are filled (4 hitters, 3 middles, 2 setters and 1 libero per team).

Our Instructional Program, part of our Volleyball School, is for the developmental player 14 & younger. This year our Instructional Program will consist of a series of 10 weekly lessons covering basic volleyball skills, general volleyball rules & rotations

For the more experienced players, we will also be offering private & semi-private lessons at medium & advanced skill levels.
